The system of electric equipment has tension of 12 Volts with negative grounding. Energy for headlights and all elements of electric equipment arrives from the lead-acid accumulator which is recharged from the generator of an alternating current.
In the section operations of repair and service of various elements of electric equipment of the car, not connected with the engine are described. Information on the accumulator, the generator of an alternating current, the distributor of ignition and a starter can be found in subsection 2.11, subsection 3.7.3, subsection 3.7.6, subsection 3.7.4.3, subsection 3.7.7.
It is necessary to notice that at work with any element of electric equipment of the car, the wire of the negative plug of the accumulator should be disconnected for prevention of short circuit and burns.
Prevention
Information on the digital equipment and sensors of indexes of an instrument guard is not included in this management. In case of malfunctions with any of elements of these systems you should address to experts.
